Amanda Michener
Masters Clinical Psychology
I’m a psychosynthesis coach and licensed psilocybin facilitator in Oregon.
As a former psychotherapist with a background in Gestalt therapy and dream work, I find Psychosynthesis effective at helping us unfold into our authentic selves, leading to a more joyful and purposeful life.
I like to say it helps us “ untangle the weeds of life and see the forest through the trees.”
I hold a BA from Oberlin College, an MA from Antioch University, and am certified in Kundalini and pre-natal yoga.
When I am not holding space for clients, I can be found playing cribbage or backgammon with one of my three kids, downhill skiing with my husband, writing/reading , or hiking in the woods with my two Australian shepherds.
My interests include individuation, psychedelic therapy, end-of-life preparation, retreats, and speaking English, Spanish, and French.
My favorite psychosynthesis concept is the focus on the transpersonal and psychological functions in relation to the Act of Will.
