The Program
Group Facilitator:
Personal Psychosynthesis
This program is designed to support and mentor participants to:
- Develop your own unique voice and approach as a psychosynthesis group facilitator.
- Learn and apply group facilitation and teaching theory and skills in the context of psychosynthesis and the stages of the act of will.
- Collaborate in the development of psychosynthesis for the 21st century utilizing the emerging IDEAL model for social innovation and transformation as a way to guide and present psychosynthesis.
- Create, design and share psychosynthesis learning resources and initiatives for self development and professional training through SCSF and Psychosynthesis Institute initiatives.
- Build confidence and experience to engage as an active co-facilitator for future workshops and training offered through SCSF and Psychosynthesis Institute Initiatives.

Psychosynthesis Facilitator Training
Program Details

Part 1: Introduction and Overview
Introduction to the program. Facilitation through an IDEAL model lens: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Learning Innovation approaches, and overview of the Facilitator/Curriculum Resource Guide.

Part 2: Psychosynthesis Framework for Teaching and Facilitation
A psychosynthesis framework for teaching. Theory/exploration of learning and group facilitation models: ethics and best practices for collaboration.

Part 3: Facilitating Personal Psychosynthesis
“Hands on” active facilitation of 6-Unit program: engaging as participants and facilitators. Self, peer and mentor reflection/feedback. Final presentation of resource for training within the act of will.

Part 2:
- Psychosynthesis Teaching Framework
- Facilitating Adult Learning and AoW Personal Psychosynthesis: Curriculum Overview and Preparation
Part 3:
You will be both a participant and a co-facilitator, as we engage in a full 6-session/unit Personal Psychosynthesis program. By completion of the program, all participants will have facilitated at least one experience for each the following sections:

- Planning Debrief + Manifestation
- Unit 6: Manifestation + Debrief
- Final Projects Presentations

Program Duration - Dates and Times
The program begins September 2023 with the introduction webinar(s).
We will resume in January 2024 and will complet the program in April 2024.
Dates/times will be determined in coordination with confirmed participants to ensure we are able to best accommodate schedules.
Part 1 and 2:
September – December 7.5 live training hours + self-managed preparation online.
Part 3:
January to April 2024 – 25 hours
Participants will engage in activities between live webinars, including:
- Providing input in the creation of our evolving IDEAL model ( Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Learning Innovation) for psychosynthesis programs and training approaches.
- Preparing their facilitation materials.
- Engaging in self-reflection/assessment/evaluation and professional development planning/activities.
- Support/collaborate/provide feedback with cohort as facilitators.
- Prepare a final presentation for both program completion and to add to SCSF program resources.

To ensure we continue to build sustainability and accessibility for our programs and services, we utilize a “Virtuous Circle” pay-it-forward sliding scale tuition model for program tuition.
We ask each participant to choose the tuition option that works best with your financial capacity and economic circumstances.

Touchstone/Standard: $525
Endeavor/Income Accessible: $425
Quarterly or Monthly installments can be arranged – a $10 per installment administration fee will be applied.

Training Team:
Didi Firman will lead Psychosynthesis Teaching Framework, group Mentoring Sessions and will be an ongoing resource through the program.
Susan Jewkes Allen will lead Program Overivew/Prepartion, Facilitation through an IDEAL lens, and will be present for all Part 3 Units and debriefs.
